The man from Nepal Phanendra Prasai has been victorious in the event as the winner of Mister National Universe 2018, Bangkok, Thailand. With this victory 25 years of age Phanendra became the first Nepalese man to earn the major award at international pageant in the Male category.

Phanendra earlier was been the part of Model Hunt Nepal 2017 and was been the winner of second season of Mister and Miss Glamorous Icon. Phanendra got the opportunity to represent at Mister National Universe 2018 after being the winner as Mister Glamorous Icon 2017. His participation was been managed and coordinated by Dream Search Agency run by Kamal Nikon Chhetri, the official franchise at Nepal for the related event.
